For first-time visitors
From arrival to checkout
We don't start treatment right away. First, we carefully check your concern and the current state of your body. We listen to any worries or questions, explain what we'll do, and only then begin.
We listen carefully to your concern
We ask when and in what situations it bothers you — including your daily life, work, and exercise habits. It's fine if you can't explain it well. Through conversation we sort out the situation together and confirm your current concern.
We check your body's condition together
We look at your posture, how your body moves, left–right differences, and how it feels when you move. We never force movement — you move within a comfortable range while we explain your current state clearly.
We provide care suited to your condition
Based on the interview and body check, we provide care suited to your condition that day. During the session we keep checking that the pressure and posture aren't uncomfortable. If anything worries you or a movement is hard, please tell us freely.
Explanation and checkout
Afterwards, we explain what we found about your body and things to keep in mind in daily life. If needed, we'll suggest a plan for future visits. Once you've confirmed everything, you pay at the reception.
We make a point of never proceeding while you're unsure
For first-time visitors to a sekkotsuin, it's common to feel "I don't know what will be done" or "I'm not sure I can explain my symptoms well." We value listening to you, checking your body, and explaining the care. If anything is on your mind, please ask at any stage.

What we treat
About insurance coverage
Japanese health insurance applies to acute and sub-acute injuries — fractures, dislocations, sprains, bruises, and strains.
* Chronic stiff shoulders or simple fatigue recovery are not covered.(03)
Traffic accident
Traffic-accident & whiplash care
For injuries from a traffic accident (whiplash, bruises, and so on), early and appropriate care matters to help avoid lasting effects. Leave it to us.
Confirm your coverage
Ask your insurer about coverage and any out-of-pocket costs before your visit.
You can receive care here while also attending an orthopedic clinic.
We'll advise on dealings with the insurance company and preparing documents.
An easy schedule to visit even on your way home from work.
For companies
On-site body care for workplaces
A nationally-licensed practitioner visits your workplace to provide body care. As part of employee benefits or a health-and-wellbeing initiative, you can start with a first-time trial session.

The therapist speaks Japanese only
To be honest, our therapist does not speak English — but that has never been a problem. We use a translation app both for LINE messages and during your visit, so simple English is completely fine. No perfect Japanese needed.
